The Roundhouse — Beacon

Trust us, it’s worth hopping the border for this four-course prix fixe menu. $85 per person is a little pricier than some of the other options on this list, but it’s well worth the difference. The first course is salade of Serrano ham, figs, radishes, and heirloom carrots or chilled Kumomoto oysters with wasabi sorbet, green apple, and smoked trout roe. This is followed by lemon sole or tuna, and then duck breast with rose-honey, celeriac, lingonberries, and dandelion greens or lamb “triad” with butternut squash, spinach, and port wine. Finish it all up with a dark chocolate Napoleon or choux au Crauelin: vanilla Chantilly, hazelnut mousseline, and passion fruit diplomat.
