If you’re willing to take the trip, one of the Hudson Valley’s biggest and bet craft fairs is also going down all this weekend. The Rhinebeck Crafts Festival, held at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, features two hundred local artisans, makers, and experts, and has quickly become a yearly two-day tradition. Did Benatar use up your ‘willing to leave Westchester’ allowance? YAI Tarrytown is hosting a Flea Market and Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday With 70+ vendors, new handmade and gently used goods (plus a designated kids’ area for little ones), this free fair is barely any drive at all and helps a worthy local cause.
Outdoor Movie Night? As You Wish! — Saturday, June 23 7-10 p.m.
John Jay Homestead kicks off its summer movie series this weekend with perennial classic The Princess Bride! Stock up on your iocaine powder, dig out your six-fingered gloves, and always remember to be wary of R.O.U.S.es before indulging in great food trucks (like Walter’s Hot Dogs!) and live music. Festivities run from 7 p.m. until the movie starts at dusk. The best part? Tickets are only $10 per car, so pile your friends into the back seat and head down early for an evening that is certain to be inconceivable!
