A trio of serious sneaker heads with a combined personal collection of 700 pairs is behind this too-cool-for-school shop showcasing exclusive retro sneakers. Yes, you’ll find new designs from Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc., but the focus is on hard-to-find past releases, like the original Jordans from the 90s and early 2000s. ‘Before, kids had to go to the city to get these kinds of exclusive styles,’ says co-owner Chris Quarles. ‘Here they can see them up close and personal.’ One item that’s a must-view? Nike’s Paris SVs. One of only 580 in the world, each features a design individually created by an artist who has since passed away. Also offered: the store’s own brand of varsity jackets, shirts, hats, and Ts; discounted member promotions; on line auction bidding; and special events.
