MYONG is a complete name like "Cher"; MYONG is the petite Korean diva chef; MYONG is the café of homemade fresh prepared foods, and the sexy restaurant MYONG GOURMET. MYONG, taking complete control as Executive Chef-Owner, creates amazing food for foodies and evening dining devotees. “This is no pan-Asian restaurant but an amazing exploration into global tastes that defies restaurant classification. We call it “Progressive World Cuisine”. ” Our spices are imported from India, the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, Japan and the US. They are combined with the freshest ingredients from local farms when available; organic meat purveyors; and fish right off the boat to bring to your table dishes like: Colorado Lamb Shank Osso Bucco, Hudson Valley Duck, Miso Marinated Black Cod or Grouper; Grilled Organic Scottish and Alaska Salmon. The Scallop Tower is made with Day Boat Scallops that sit on top a raft of Crispy Pork Belly, with a potato-leek puree as the ocean below; adorned with frizzled leek. Other dishes include: Organic Roasted Chicken, Lobster Mac ‘n cheese or a classic “Ultimate Burger” using Dry Aged Prime Rib that flirt with your senses. From the Black Asian Noodles to the Pappardella Bolognaise the world is at your pallet and the hardest part is choosing where to go. Myong’s traditional Korean Bi Bim Bop, and Kalbi which has a marinade going back three generations to MYONG’s village points right to her Korean roots. Menus are seasonal and specials abound.
A New Kids Menu offers the same excellence of food specially designed for smaller appetites. There are menu-wide over 20 Gluten Free selections and Myong has vegetarian and vegan options as well.
MYONG GOURMET has a full Liquor license offering spirits, exotic cocktails and beer plus over 20 different wines-by-the-glass. Try the Mango Republic or Classic Ward 8, a Blood Orange Cosmopolitan adds a delicate flair to your dining experience. There is a Reserve List that includes James Berry, Caymus, Opus One, Cru, Cayuse Vineyards, Kongsgaard, and many other boutique and hard to find selections.
For dessert, the try the warm apple dessert, which MYONG calls apple perfection or the Brownie Heart Attack. Other special desserts show up unannounced and are all made in house.
