Best Quesadilla 2005. Quesadillas are the perfect appetizer to share, but when they taste as good as the duck confit version at this New American in Harrison, you'll want to eat it all by yourself. And this is a experienced chef's version of the Mexican staple, with duck leg meat that's been cured, sauteed in it's own fat (don't worry calorie counters, it's drained out), and then roasted, before being assembled with flour tortillas, sweet caramelized onions, and Monterey jack. For the full experience, don't forget to pile on a healthy dollop of the chunky grilled vegetable guacamole.
