Best Raw Bar 2005. By day, Joan and Joe DiMauro run one of the freshest fish markets around, and by night, they bring their still-flapping seawater wares to their dinner-only restaurant one street over. Some of their best offerings can be found at the four-stool, shucked-to-order raw bar: goodly colored East Coast and West Cost oysters (six for $12), plump Little Neck and Top Neck clams from Long Island (six for $7.59), Gulf shrimp cocktail (six for $12) and, on the summer menu only, chilled lobster cocktail (a half tail and one claw with corn salad and a horseradish whole-grain mustard-mayo sauce for $12.50). Best Oyster Bar 2006. Pull up a stool at the bar and the chef will shuck your oysters to order right in front of you. Featuring shrimp cocktail, little neck and pop neck clams, and a wide selection of east and west coast oysters.
