This 23-seat American bistro just across the county line is owned by private chef and caterer Hannah Hopkins, who has been featured on the Food Network show Chopped. Ingredients from local farms are used in dishes such as rösti Alpener (Swiss-style potato cake), spice-ribbed flat iron steak, and blackened catfish with black bean tomato salsa. All desserts, including coconut-vanilla bean jasmine rice pudding, are made in-house. The reasonably priced wine list (average bottle is $35) features small producers from the Rhone and Languedoc regions of France. Open Mon to Sat for lunch and dinner.
