French baguettes are tasty enough plain but reach another level of crunchy goodness when Chef Tracy Kamperdyk Assue adds roasted garlic and imported Parmesan. The diner serves the baguette as part of their dinner breadbasket as well as with some soups, though you can pick a whole one up at the in-store bakery ($3.95). It makes a perfect counterpoint to antipasto, or toasted and crumbled as croutons.
