Knoyzz is a store for 'tweens, teens, and their stylish moms, offering contemporary sportswear from cutting-edge young designer and labels not generally found in department stores. Says owner Richard Moskowitz, a former longtime ladies garment manufacturer in California, 'We cater to the fashionable women,' he says. 'We are the fashionista mom-and-daughter store.' Imagine the latest, most buzzed about jeans from True Religion, J Brand, Hudson Jeans, etc. ($80-$200), tons of must have tanks, Bermuda shorts and capris, plus flirty little dresses, skirts, bags, jewelry, and accessories. 'You can spend a lot of money or a little bit. There is something here for everyone,' says Moskowitz, who scours the LA and NY fashion markets for the store's up-to-the-minute offerings.
Best Trendy Boutique 2006
If it’s hip, happening, and kinda out there, it’s here at this sizzling hot spot of “kitschy couture” for tweens, teens, and their funding sources (a.k.a moms). Expect top-notch style served up with plenty of sass. What you’ll find: racks and stacks of über-hip clothing and accessories from such fresh, fashion-forward labels as Department of Peace, Fresh Butter, True Religion, Necessary Objects, etc., and about twenty lines of jeans from Blue Cult, Paper Denim & Cloth, Hudson, J. Brand and more. Suffering from same old, same old overload? (knoyzz) dares to be different: it’s blessedly free of the ubiquitous Juicy Couture and Seven labels.
