Got a budding I.M. Pei who's way past Legos? Children ages 8 to 11 can immerse themselves in the world of architecture during this fun-filled week-long program. Kids learn the fundamentals of architecture by studying the 1838 Peter Augustus Jay House, along with the two other 19th-century mansions, which are part of the Boston Post Road Historic District. Campers get to design and construct a dream house and a building essential for a city, such as a school or fire department. They learn the basics of zoning and then organize their buildings on a giant map of the Boston Post Road to create a mini city.
