His designs for furniture and fabric manufacturers (Drexel Heritage, Ethan Allen, Seckers Fabrics in England), for hotels and major buildings (The Helmsley Palace, the U.S. Consulate in Milan), and for corporate interior and product design (Ringling Brothers, the Archdioceses of New York) have made Elmo an interior-design notable in these parts and around the country.
