Already jam-packed with shopping options and beauty havens, Greenwich continues to add new offerings near Westchester County.

Head to Greenwich for a day of sustainable shopping and high-end beauty treatments.

One of the most talked about trends in fashion lately is the snubbing of fast fashion and micro-trends, shifting the focus instead to sustainability. Giving a second life to apparel and accessories is easier now with the opening of two well-known national shops in Greenwich, devoted to that purpose: The RealReal and Rebag.

The RealReal (256 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich; therealreal.com) is the world’s largest marketplace for luxury resale goods. Shop apparel, jewelry, and accessories from top brands like Hermès, Gucci, and Chanel here, with new arrivals daily. Rare items are also curated by The RealReal, for a unique collection. In addition to purchasing from the shop, you may also drop off items to sell for consignment. Experts are available on-site to evaluate pieces’ worth.

Rebag (107 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich; rebag.com) is a luxury fashion store for buying, selling, and trading, with only seven other stores nationwide. Here, you’ll find accessories and jewelry from designers like Rolex, Louis Vuitton, and Cartier. Bring your items to be sold or traded and have them evaluated in a timely fashion by specialized technology.

On the beauty front, ELIVATE Med Spa and CAVE are now open. ELIVATE (1455 E Putnam Ave, Old Greenwich; elivatemedspa.com) is a boutique aesthetic medicine-and-wellness practice, founded by Melissa Pulcini-Buttine, PA-C, that originally opened in February 2020 but was shut down by COVID-19 a month later. Once the practice reopened, after more than a year, the team renewed their goal to make clients “feel, look, and LIV your best self.” Health and wellness treatments include custom IV drip therapy and B-12 booster shots. Aesthetic and beauty treatments include facials, injectables, Vivace, Keralase, laser hair removal, and Accufit (a muscle activation technology).

A boutique gentlemen’s salon owned by renowned stylist Paulo Lanfredi (who already has his own eponymous salon in Greenwich), CAVE offers haircuts, razor shaves, and beard trims in a sleek setting. Membership programs are available.
