Igor Laskowski, MD, is board-certified in general and vascular surgery and specializes in treatment of a broad spectrum of artery and vein conditions.
He has extensive experience in endovascular procedures for complex aortic aneurysmal disease, peripheral vascular disease and limb-salvage surgery.
Dr. Laskowski also is an assistant professor of surgery at the New York Medical College. He is an author and co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. He is involved in clinical research projects at Westchester Medical Center.
His interests also include management of carotid arterial occlusive disease, vascular dialysis access and various aspects of venous disease, including procedures for acute and chronic deep vein thrombosis and management of postphlebitic syndrome.
Dr. Laskowski completed his internship and residency in general surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, and his vascular surgery fellowship at New York University Medical Center. He served as a research fellow in transplant immunology at Harvard Medical School and obtained a doctorate degree with distinction from Warsaw Medical University.
