The Yonkers farmers' market is the oldest one in Westchester. It is also one of the most diverse. Besides the typical breads and produce sold at most markets, the Yonkers sale, running Thursdays beginning July 3 and lasting until Nov 13, hosts Amish vendors who sell "shoofly" pies and honey. There is also a 28-store flea market on site that offers jewelry, handbags, and other homemade goods. The market is held outside St. John's Episcopal Church in Getty Square and is open from 9 am to 4 pm.
