Chef Michael Williams, who owns the Perennial Chef with sister Leslie and one other partner, is always on the lookout for the freshest ingredients, doesn’t keep a lot of inventory, and makes everything from scratch. Chef Williams’s cuisine can best be described as French-Californian with an international flair.
Signature dishes to sample include Chinese broccoli with roasted garlic-oyster sauce; poached shrimp with lemongrass mint glaze; and Brazilian grilled steak with a Cuban crust. To satisfy the sweetooth: French butter cookies, frosted holiday cookies, biscotti, mini French pastries, tiramisu, and opera cake.
Prices vary according to menu complexity, but generally start around $38 per person.
