Maison Prive offers a wide variety of services such as weekly personal cooking and exclusive multi-course private dinner parties. Company creator, Jennifer Vellano, graduated with honors from the Institute of Culinary Education in 2001. She met husband and co-worker, James Vellano, in the kitchen of Per Se in Manhattan. (He currently is the chef de cuisine of Bouchon Bakery.) Maison Prive advocates a healthy, refined dining experience that promotes the local farmers, their sustainable harvest practices, and their organic seasonal fruits and vegetables. Whenever possible, all fish, meat, and poultry are purchased from sustainable sources where all animals are treated humanely.
