Train your young ones for future turns on Project Runway with Fiamor owner Mimi Filipova. Broken down by age groups, Filipova imparts her fashion expertise in classes that cover everything from learning about color, texture, and putting together outfits (for the littlest ones, ages six to eight and nine to 11) to makeup, hairsty-ling, and basic sewing (for older students, ages 12 to 14 and 15 to 17). Each class is taught for six sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays, and classes range in price from $150 to $195 (including materials). Sound like fun to you? Filipova offers adult classes by appointment for groups of five or less. It ain’t your mother’s home economics class, that’s for sure.
