Owners Betty Choi and Joanne Lee opened the salon on July and have a manicure/pedicure special for just $22 on Mondays through Wednesdays. Regular prices on Thursdays through Sundays reasonable, too: just $9 for a basic manicure, $18 for a pedicure; with add-ons like a callus removal treatment for $10 or a 10-minute reflexology massage for $13. The little ones can accompany Mom; kid manicures range from $5 to $7; pedicures $10 to $14. The salon also has a full menu of wraps and extensions, plus waxing. Parking is free, just behind Duane Read.
Best Bargain Mani/Pedi (2010)
Everybody is looking for a good deal these days, but it’s no bargain if you have to wait forever, then end up with cut-rate polish and a streaky application. No worries at Ivy Nails—these folks are prompt (do make an appointment first), use salon-quality products (OPI, Essie, Creative), and are as meticulous as salons that charge two to three times more. The deal? Full manicure and pedicure, just $22 Mondays through Wednesdays. So you’ve no excuse for ungroomed nails.
