Best of Westchester - Editors' Picks

Best New Literary Salon; 2005. Kudos to the county for snatching this cool salon series away from that backwater town, La La Land. At Spoken Interludes, participants indulge in a little fine dining, mingle with like-minded readers, and connect over some literature. Past participants have included such big-name writers as Kinky Friedman, Rupert Holmes, Meg Worlitzer, and Anne Perry. Spoken Interludes is on hiatus for the summer, but don't fret. It'll start up again in September with a fresh lineup of authors. A must-do for any lit fan.
