Located in a former Chase Manhattan Bank complete with Grand Banking Room, the landmark building is now a hub for visual and performing arts. State-of-the-art galleries showcase local, emerging, and folk artists. The Live at the Arts Exchange series brings in dancers and musicians for intimate performances. Past performers have included folk musician Anthony DaCosta and bluesmen the Turnstyle Jumpers.
New Voices, a co-production of Mainstage Coffeehouse Foundation and Westchester Arts Counl's Live @ the Arts Exchange. Four outstanding musicians, one stage, and one night full of one-of-a-kind performances that will not soon be forgotten. At New Voices, presented by both Mainstage and Live @ the Arts Exchange, four of the most critically acclaimed, up-and-coming acoustic folk musicians come from all over the Northeast to perform at the beautifully restored Grand Banking Room. Instead of doing their sets consecutively, however, all four musicians share the stage and take turns playing songs one at a time. The format encourages improvisations, collaborations, and spontaneous harmonizing that can never be repeated, and something you'll be bragging about having seen when the artists break out.
