Farahat and her business partner, Tina Rodriguez, launched Creative Trendz Design Studio, a charming new shop offering interior design services and custom furniture, upholstery, and window treatments. You’ll find fabrics by Fabricut, Stout, and Robert Allen at $28-plus per yard; distressed reproduction furniture; and accent pieces. Window treatments and upholstery are done in the shop’s workroom, and “nobody can beat our quick turnaround time,” vouches Farahat, who also co-owns Pelham’s Gracious Living Design Studio.
