arts & crafts
The theme of this dining room in a beautiful turn-of-the-century house in Pelham was carried out using elements of British Arts and Crafts: metal, organic patterns (William Morris wallpaper and the Michelian rug), embroidered fabric (Donghia fabric on the Arts and Crafts screen). The huge silver chandelier came from a theater; the candelabras and other silver were the client’s own. Paintings are by Hiro Yokose. Designer: Victoria Klein Interior Design, Pelham

casual country
With Flowers, a painting by Edward Giobbi, graces the head of the table in this casual dining room in Katonah. The table was commissioned by Kkevin Bone; the chairs are custom Adams chairs, commissioned by the homeowner’s great grandmother. Designer: Kevin Bone of Bone-Levin Architects, New York, NY

rhapsody in blue
Cool blue hues set the tone for this serene and sophisticated dining room. Maurice Jallot chairs from the 1940s complement the Lorin Marsh table, lit by a Venetian glass chandelier from Baker Furniture. The rug (from the AM Collection, now part of Stark Carpet) adds a pleasing pattern. Designer: Irwin Weiner Interiors, New York, NY

sleek sophistication
The Kevin Reilly Altar Hanging Light at Holly Hunt steals the show in this spare yet elegant room in Purchase. Table and chairs are by Christian Liaigre at Holly Hunt; ceramic vases by Jonathan Adler. Designer: Michelle Gerson Interiors, New York, NY

golden glamour
The two crystal chandeliers define this Mediterranean-inspired dining room, enhanced by the lighted coffered ceiling finished in shimmering gold leaf. The multi-layered draperies are trimmed with handmade beaded bullion fringe; gold-leaf finals complete the ensemble. The custom-made carpet is by Couristan. All of the furnishings, carpet, lighting, and accessories are from JR Cattington Interiors. Designer: Joseph R. Stabile, J.R. Cattington Interiors, Briarcliff Manor
