We asked local interior designers, What's the future buzz?, and the answer may not surprise anyone who’s been paying attention to the national trend: sustainable designing is in. Susan Marocco of Susan Marocco Interiors in Bedford says that builders and interior designers already have embraced the green movement, and it’s just a matter of time before their clients do as well. J.R. Cattington of J.R. Cattington Interiors in Briarcliff Manor believes this means future interiors will be “green clean,” that is, less flashy, and, as Susan Anthony of Anthony-Wright Interiors in Tarrytown says, will have an emphasis on “going back to nature.”
