Personal fashion style: It depends on my mood—some days I can be fun and funky and other days my style is sophisticated and classic. Style icon: Coco Chanel, of course. I love the little black dress and the simplicity of her style. Style mantra: Wear the dress—don’t let it wear you. Recommended fall purchase: A great classic solid dress—navy is big again. The silhouette is longer, lady-like, and more old Hollywood, but still with an edge, like a one-shoulder. Trending up this season: Lace is big. And for colors, navy blue and prints. Go-to accessory: The wrap—because it can be worn with almost anything. Number owned: Too many. Favorite item in her closet: A black motorcycle jacket given to me by a good friend. Size of closet: Not big enough. Favorite fashion blogger: A girl from California named Karla at karlascloset.com. Must-watch TV: Mad Men. I love the fashions—the pinched waist, the little flare skirt, and the Peter Pan collar. I think that style is very fun and flattering. The world’s best-dressed celeb: Gwyneth Paltrow—she’s so chic and so classy. I simply adore her style. Daydreams about splurging on: A closet’s worth of Christian Louboutin shoes.
