Favors: Modern classics with a twist. Go-to item of clothing: A black skirt. I have around ten black skirts in different silhouettes, lengths, and fabrics. Bookmarked fashion websites: asos.com and shopbop.com for shopping, and refinery29.com for street-style fashion from around the world. Stylish celeb she’s watching: Emma Stone. Daydreams about splurging on: A Chanel suit. Favorite shoes: A pair of Christian Louboutins that my husband bought for me the year I opened the store.

Puro is wearing a black Leong Ong dress with fitted bodice and full pleated skirt ($300) and Shari Silverman Voce earrings ($55), both available at March Boutique. Her black Stuart Weitzman pumps ($250) are available at Stuart Weitzman in White Plains.
