Summer in the county is enjoyable, but autumn in Westchester is phenomenal. Pleasant weather lingers, allowing us to hang around our favorite seasonal, outdoor spots a little while longer. In the meantime, our beloved cultural institutions, dormant during the hottest months, reawaken, offering a new season of performances (from Andrew Bird to the Zombies); appearances (try to spot Steven Spielberg in Pleasantville); exhibitions (in the mood for a little Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons?); and all-around excitement. That’s not to mention the awards-bait films and brand-new books and TV shows that demand our attention. So, how do you choose? Here, we offer our blueprint to getting the most out of the fall arts season.
