Celebrated Mom Ceremony

Neue Galerie, Manhattan

Chappaqua-based LifeWorx, a childcare, eldercare, housekeeping, and chef service provider, honored Ali Wing at its third annual Celebrated Mom 2012 awards ceremony.
A frequent media guest who speaks about parenting and baby products, Wing is executive director of the Tecumseh Foundation and founder/CEO of 13 giggle baby stores, including three in Manhattan and one in Greenwich, Connecticut.
The award recognizes an outstanding mom who has led the way in her profession and community activities.
Fresh Direct donated $35,000 of food to City Harvest; LifeWorx gave $1,000 worth of LifeWorx services to a mother from Queens whose son has leukemia.
Past Celebrated Mom Award recipients were ESPN anchor Hannah Storm in 2011 and Carol Evans, Working Mother Media CEO, in 2010.
