Bear Market

Pelham resident Eric Munson takes his new wine label, Dancing Bear, very personally. It's his nickname, and, after a soul-searching career switch, his affirmation. He started importing small-yield handcrafted Italian wines five years ago, and now produces his own Italian, California, and Washington varietals under the Dancing Bear Cellars name. "I want to educate people about the family-produced gems," he says, and with one sample of his proseccos, pinot noirs, chardonnays, cabernets, and zinfandels, he will. Look for Dancing Bear Cellars products, most of which retail between $20 and $30, at wine shops countywide.
