New Spa Menu at The Ritz
The Ritz-Carlton Spa in White Plains now offers more organic treatments, new product lines, and several new water-therapy treatments. We tried the 90-minute Fall Surrender massage. But first, the massage therapist asked us to choose an amethyst from a bowl; an amethyst, she claimed, represents serenity, transformation, and relief from stress. The treatment began with a green apple and pear foot scrub (delicious!). It was followed by an all-over hot-stone massage (yes!), then a head and neck massage (a $25 add-on, but ohhhh, it’s worth it), and ended with another foot massage (please, don’t ever stop). Before we left, our therapist recommended we put the amethyst we chose on our hearts whenever we felt stress to relieve it. Does it work? Can’t say that it does. But...the Fall Surrender? For sure.
