Equestrian Elegance
Joanna Fisher of Chappaqua hosts her holiday dinners in a revamped barn with equestrian-themed plates and bird-topped tureens on colorful bird-feather placemats. The napkins were custom-made with slits for ribbons to match the plates; lettered leaves are used as place cards. Fisher mixes antique silverware with deerskin forks and knives; the napkin rings are made of horn.

Mid-Century Modern
Shelley Leboff of Katonah sets the stage with a table runner of natural moss, white orchids, and bleached white branches, accented with German Nagle candleholders from the 1960s. Lime-green cut-glass goblets mesh with the white Hutschenreuther china and Baccarat crystal, wedding gifts from 31 years ago. Asian-inspired maroon salad plates are topped with gray vintage Russell Wright soup bowls; the Michael Aram silverware is hammered steel.

Nature’s Bounty
The lush centerpiece on Bedford resident Jill Brooke’s table is laden with fruit, vegetables, and nuts overflowing onto a bed of moss. Anne Glass plates and autumnal-hued napkins, napkin rings, and leaf placemats from Amen Wardy mix well with the Pier 1 bowls and glasses and Pottery Barn silverware.
