Sleepy Hollow

The legendary village of Sleepy Hollow is found on the eastern bank of the Hudson River roughly 25 miles north of New York City. The village immortalized in Washington Irving’s iconic work has taken great care to preserve its historical integrity. Visitors can journey through time at the Old Dutch Church, colonial Philipsburg Manor, and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery where William Rockefeller, Brooke Astor, and Andrew Carnegie among other notables were laid to rest.  While Sleepy Hollow has a full calendar of events all year round, the most exciting time has to be Halloween. The village goes all out with a haunted hayride, the Great Jack O’ Lantern Blaze, Horseman’s Hollow, and Jay Ghoul’s House of Curiosity. Sleepy Hollow small-town charm is fortified by its array of quaint shops, restaurants, and lush scenery.
