The A. W. Tillinghast-designed courses are among the best courses in the nation, and offer non-members the chance to play in charity golf outings held each summer

Westchester is home to some of the best golf courses in the nation, including several designed by A.W. Tillinghast. Among them: Quaker Ridge in Scarsdale and Winged Foot’s East and West Courses in Mamaroneck. Don’t have a membership to these clubs?  Here’s a tip: You can buy your way in, at least for a day, by attending one of the many charity golf outings held every summer. Or better yet, make pals with a member.
