Port Chester Carver Center Annual Benefit

Hilton Westchester’s ballroom, decorated with paper flowers made by the children in Port Chester Carver Center’s After-School Program, was the setting for the Center’s annual benefit, which took on a Cinco de Mayo theme this year and attracted 320 guests. Co-chaired by Veronica Iuliano of Port Chester, and Katharine Muccia of Rye, the evening raised $300,000 in support of the educational, recreational, cultural, and civic services for underprivileged families in the village.
Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla addressed the crowd, discussing the dynamics of Port Chester, and praising the good work done by the Carver Center. The night continued with a live auction, which included a trip to Anguilla; vacation homes in Nantucket and Cartagena, Colombia; and 18 holes at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
The evening included a cocktail hour, dancing to music by La Fiesta, and a Mexican-inspired meal.
