Indoor Playspace Opens in Chappaqua

WeeZee World of “Yes I Can!”

There were more than 300 attendees at the opening event for WeeZee World of “Yes I Can!”, a 16,000-square-foot indoor play and sensory-awareness center for children ages 1 to 12 located in the former Reader’s Digest building.
News 12 Reporter Shannon White was the emcee for the celebration. Several local politicians presented proclamations to WeeZee Founder and CEO Louise Weadock, recognizing the center’s opening day (April 24) to be National Sensory Awareness Day. New York State Assemblymen Thomas Abinanti and Robert Castelli; County Legislators Michael Kaplowitz and Michael Smith; New Castle Town Supervisor Susan Carpenter; Mayor Mary Foster of Peekskill, and Helen Williams, mother of actress Vanessa Williams, were among the guests.
