This Mother’s Day, forget the crowded, noisy restaurants and take Mom somewhere she really wants to go: shopping. Find one-of-a-kind items, including accessories (like Loretta Lam’s beautiful piece, pictured here), art, fine crafts, furniture, and home décor pieces made from metal, glass, wood, ceramics, and mixed media. If Mom finds something she likes, you can wrap it up and give it to her on the next weekend for the real Mother’s Day.
