The Inn at Pound Ridge.

The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges New American $$$$

Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s eatery, located in a restored 19th-century residence (and later inn), features local ingredients and dishes crafted by Vongerichten vets Blake and Melody Farrar. The 250-seat restaurant includes two dining areas, plus an in-kitchen chef’s table and a wine cellar for private dining. Look for dishes like signature tuna tartare, plus sautéed diver scallops with Meyer lemon-cauliflower sauce, fried onions, garlic, and capers; and prosciutto-wrapped Berkshire pork chop with mushrooms, sage, and white-wine sauce. The Mill Gastropub $$$

The menu at The Mill focuses on seasonal and local ingredients. Look for popular gastropub dishes like Hudson Valley pork chop with braised red cabbage, baked apple, and cider cream sauce and Porkslap Pale Ale-brined roasted chicken with pommes purée and roasted baby carrots, along with burgers and pizza. Happy Hour runs Tues to Thurs from 5 pm to 7 pm and includes drink and food specials. Reservations accepted on weekdays for parties of six or more. The Travelers Club Mediterranean $$$$

This 100+-seat restaurant, with views of the runway at Westchester County Airport, features a Mediterranean-influenced menu with dishes like chicken scarpariello and veal Milanese, plus options such as filet mignon, miso-glazed Chilean sea bass, and lobster cavatelli. The Twisted Oak New American $$$$
Chef Michael Cutney’s menus change daily at this New American restaurant with an Italian flair (Cutney was trained in Florence, Italy). Look for classic comfort dishes like poutine, chicken and dumplings, butternut squash caponata, and house-made pasta (think duck lasagna with mushrooms, kale, and a duck egg). Yamanoya Sushi Japanese/Sushi $$$

This casual eatery features an extensive menu of traditional and specialty sushi rolls and sashimi, along with à la carte options and appetizers like tempura and tuna or salmon tartare.
