Gilded Age Photos of Tarrytown’s Lyndhurst Estate

You saw as many Gilded Age images as we could get into our January issue, but we know we left you wanting more. Fortunately, you can find more here.

Here at Westchester Magazine, we love history as much as you do, which is why we brought you Nathan Laliberte’s “At the Crossroads of Change: Westchester in the Gilded Age” cover story in January. But we just couldn’t get enough of those period photos of the wealthy people who lived here during the latter part of the 19th century with their estates, yachts, and juicy rivalries. So we’re bringing you the overflow: more images from the Lyndhurst Estate—a bit of an inside tour for those of you who need some more Gilded Age to get you through the winter.
