Scalisi Skincare: Scarsdale Resident Jill Scalisi's Line of Anti-Aging Products

It was a skin cancer scare that led Jill Scalisi, a former investment banker, to create her own skincare line when she was unable to find an anti-aging SPF moisturizer she liked. Using her background in science and finance, the Scarsdale mom of two partnered with cosmetic chemists and biopharmaceutical and regulatory scientists to come up with Scalisi Skincare, science-based, anti-aging products that “feel amazing” on your skin. The line includes a broad spectrum SPF 30 moisturizers for day use ($110 for 1.7 oz), a combination cleanser-exfoliator ($45 for 3.4 oz), an advanced wrinkle cream for night ($125 for 1.7 oz), and an eye cream ($75 for .5 oz) that diminishes the appearance of crow’s feet and fine lines, while reducing puffiness. Clinical results are similar to those of Retinol but without the side effects of skin irritation, peeling, and increased sensitivity to light. (The FDA recommends pregnant and nursing mothers avoid Retinol.) For a free sample, visit abeautyfullthing.com, or “like” Scalisi Skincare on Facebook (while supplies last). Available online in March at scalisiskincare.com. Since the enterprise started with Scalisi’s skin cancer, the company is partnering with The Skin Cancer Foundation to donate $5 for every anti-aging moisturizer SPF 30 sold.
