Neat Handiwork

You have to hand it to Ellen Sirot of Mount Kisco for coming up with a career that prevents her from cooking, cleaning, or handling anything sharper than a butter knife. For the past 20 years, Sirot’s hands have appeared in every major fashion magazine and in thousands of print ads and television commercials. Along the way, she’s learned a thing or ten about keeping her delicate digits in perfect condition and now is launching Hand Perfection, a complete line of hand- and nail-care products from day and night creams, nail and cuticle treatments, multi-task gloves, and glovettes (think hand thongs to protect from UV rays). The products launch online this month at handperfection.com; available in select stores in April.
