Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort
Imagine a trip to Disney World without the teeming crowds and screaming kids. At Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, it’s possible. As the only Central Florida resort to receive the AAA Five Diamond Award, many visitors are there just for the resort itself. With amenities such as a five-acre water park, a 24-hour fitness center, a Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole golf course, and a 13,000-square-foot spa, you really could spend your entire vacation on the property. Like any Four Seasons Resort, luxury is a given: spacious rooms, plush towels, 24/7 in-room dining.
Kids can spend the day at the Explorer Island water park (two water slides, a zero-entry pool, splash pad, lazy river) and complimentary kids camp; adults might opt for relaxing at the serene adults-only pool or take in dinner at the romantic rooftop-terrace steakhouse. Many rooms have balconies that overlook the Disney theme parks, so you can see fireworks at Magic Kingdom and Epcot from your own private balcony.
Of course, if your plans do include Disney, it couldn’t be easier. Located within the gates of Walt Disney World Resort, it’s a quick shuttle ride to any of the parks. There’s even an on-site Disney Planning Center, where you can buy tickets or pick up your will-call tickets. And once you’ve done the theme parks and want to explore more of Orlando, there’s plenty to do. For art lovers: Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is home to the world’s largest Tiffany glass collection. Or, take a tasting tour at The Orlando Brewing Company. Prefer wine? The Imperial Orlando offers more than 40 by-the-glass choices from boutique vineyards. Sports fans can check out an Orlando Magic game. And while you’re in the sunny state, you’ll want to smell the roses (more than 200 varieties) at Harry P. Leu Gardens, which also has a citrus grove and one of the largest collections of camellias in the US.
Rates start at $449 per night.
