If you’ve watched too many Criminal Minds episodes, you probably think you’ll die when a serial killer who has eluded the police collects you as his last victim. Luckily, that’s not likely here in Westchester. To calm your nerves, we’ve compiled the five real leading causes of the 7,000 or so deaths that occur here each year:
Heart Disease 38.6%
Cancer 25.5%
Lung Disease 9.5%
Accidents, Homicides, and Suicides 4.6%
Infectious and Parasitic Diseases. 4.1%
