Yoga Haven in Tuckahoe has opened Yoga Haven 2, a 1,200-square-foot studio complete with an Iyengar rope wall in Scarsdale (91 Montgomery Ave, 914-723-0738; yogahaven.com).
Jois Yoga, a new studio devoted to the practice of Ashtanga yoga, including the Mysore teaching style, has opened across the border in Greenwich, Connecticut (8 Dayton Ave, 203-340-9196; joisyoga.com).
Hernan Prada, owner and master stylist of Prada Grusel in Manhattan, opened Hernan Prada Hair in Scarsdale June 1st (130 Brook St 914-574-5367). The full-service salon also has a dry bar for blowouts.
