This glittering, boisterous enclave in the heart of White Plains offers dinner and dancing with a decidedly Latin flair. A Puerto Rican menu adds spice to the basement nightclub, which features an ever-changing schedule of themed events each night (most recently salsa dancing lessons and sangria on Wednesdays; check their website for the latest offerings).  Open nightly for dinner until at 11 p.m., with bar service on Fridays and Saturdays until 4 a.m.

This Westchester outpost of a Union Square favorite hosts Wine Wednesdays, where select bottles of Bordeaux and other wines are half off. While sipping, savor reinterpreted Southern-inspired treats, like fried pickles, truffle popcorn, and shrimp and grits. Open until midnight.

Yonkers Pottery Studio

Yonkers Pottery Studio is one of a handful of new establishments in Westchester that caters to adults who like to get messy. Monday and Wednesday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. are reserved for an eight-week course where apprehensive adults learn the basics of pottery making and sitting at a wheel. The studio also hosts an introductory, adults-only clay soirée on the third Friday of each month for those not ready to commit to an eight-week intensive.

This longtime Westchester favorite hosts trivia nights every Wednesday. Come be a part of history from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Thursday nights are dedicated to karaoke, where songbirds enjoy crooning onstage under the spotlight.

If you haven’t made a pilgrimage to this trendy brewhall/community center yet, stop by on Wednesday nights at 7:30 for a friendly round or two of trivia.
