Blue Hill New York’s Michael Gallina has replaced Greg Baxtrom as chef de cuisine at Blue Hill at Stone Barns (630 Bedford Rd, Pocantico Hills 914-366-9600; bluehillfarm.com). Gallina was previously sous chef at Eleven Madison Park in Manhattan //Chef Brian MacMenamin, formerly owner/executive chef at Post Road Ale House in New Rochelle, has a new venture, Club Car Restaurant and Lounge (One Station Plz, Mamaroneck 914-777-9300; clubcarny.com). The 130-seat New American restaurant, located in the 1888 train station, retains many of the building’s architectural details. Roasted duck with wild-mushroom risotto, gnocchi with lamb sausage, and pink peppercorn-crusted ahi tuna are on the dining-room menu. Club Car plans to serve lunch and dinner every day // Scheduled to open this month, Texas de Brazil (Ridge Hill Blvd, Yonkers 914-652-9660; texasdebrazil.com) is a Brazilian churrascaria with 23 U.S. locations. Diners pay either $46.99 (regular dinner) or $24.99 (light dinner) for a gourmet salad buffet, sushi, and 15 grilled meats prepared over an open flame and carved tableside // The Katechis family has opened Ionian Grill & Café (601 North Ave, New Rochelle 914-365-1522; ioniangrillandcafe.com), a traditional Greek eatery serving tiropita, kebabs, a variety of wraps and souvlaki, and a long list of desserts. No item on the regular menu is more than $15. Open every day for lunch and dinner // Restaurateur Vincent Corso has relocated Graziella’s on South Broadway in White Plains to the space where sister restaurant Blue was. The new Graziella’s Italian Bistro (99 Church St, White Plains 914-761-5721; graziellasrestaurant.com) serves such main dishes as beef short rib over pappardelle, grilled swordfish, and slow-braised lamb shank ($16-$28). Graziella’s is open every day for lunch and dinner // Koo Restaurant has morphed into Nouveau Sushi (17 Purdy Ave, Rye 914-921-9888) with a new décor and menu. Entrées ($14 and $24), include miso blanc salmon, soft-shell crab burger, and ramen with roast pork. Nouveau is open every day for lunch and dinner; delivery is offered // 350° (30 Elm Pl, Rye 914-967-2379; 350classicbakeshop.com), a dessert shop specializing in cupcakes ($3)—its name comes from the quintessential baking temperature—has opened in Rye. Cupcake flavors include red velvet and peanut butter-Nutella. Executive Pastry Chef Keyes T. Clemmer formerly worked at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills // Order by 6:30 pm Mondays to Wednesdays to take advantage of Eastchester Fish Gourmet’s (837 White Plains Rd, Scarsdale 914-725-3450; eastchesterfish.com) $28.95 three-course prix-fixe dinner // The Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Business Improvement District (yonkersdowntown.com) will hold its first International Restaurant Week from January 21 through January 29. Diners will receive a 20-percent discount for lunch and 25 percent discount for dinner from participating restaurants such as X20 Xaviars on the Hudson, Zuppa Restaurant & Lounge, Dolphin Restaurant Bar Lounge, La Bella Havana, and Khangri Asian and Japanese // A new cicchetti menu—or tastings menu—is available Monday to Thursday during dinner hours at Mediterranean restaurant Fig & Olive (696 White Plains Rd, Scarsdale 914-725-2900; figandolive.com). For $27, choose three small plates plus a cocktail or glass of wine // Serafina (199 Main St, 914-288-9300; serafinarestaurant.com) now offers a happy hour special: beer for $4, wine for $7.50, and cocktails for $8 from 4 to 6 pm // Chef Depot, a wholesale restaurant equipment warehouse, will open in a 6,700-square-foot space at 65 Tarrytown Road in White Plains sometime this winter.
