Our 10 Most Beautiful Buildings
Regarding your “10 Most Beautiful Buildings” in the December issue… You have to be kidding me! I guess no one on your staff has been in the southern part of Westchester. Otherwise, you never would have picked Seven Bridges Middle School in Chappaqua as a beautiful building—not when there is magnificent New Rochelle High School still standing! Shame on you.
Susan Parisi, Yonkers

I enjoyed the photo of Seven Bridges Middle School that ran in your December issue. While it’s not part of the original design and was not done by a world-famous architect, I wanted to send along some photos of the 32’ x 40’ school garden system we designed and installed at the school in 2009.

Hey, What About New Ro?
As a resident of the Forest Heights section of New Rochelle, I do think that you might consider changing the name of your magazine to Towns Right Around the Office of Westchester Magazine. Is there anyway to include New Rochelle, with regards to magazine content, in some way in the future?
Stephen Fishler, New Rochelle

Oops: In the Nibbles section of Amuse Bouche (December 2010), Brian MacMenamin was incorrectly listed as a partner of New Rochelle restaurant Cienega Latin Cuisine. The owners are Pedro Muñoz and Vivian Torres, who also own Nuevo Latino eatery Luz in Brooklyn. MacMenamin is co-owner and executive chef at Post Road Ale House.
