Sarah Swanson’s Madison Avenue Spa Comes to Scarsdale

The city’s Sarah Swanson Skin Care opens in Westchester County, bringing the ever-popular photofacial along for loyal guests looking to skip the trip to Manhattan.

We love options, particularly when the option is skipping a trip to Manhattan. The successful Sarah Swanson Skin Care on Madison Avenue now has a second location in Scarsdale. “I have a portion of my home dedicated to the spa,” says owner Sarah Swanson. “It’s a very soothing environment, done up in warm neutrals, natural stone, and tile.” An early adapter of some of the newest laser and anti-aging treatments, including VelaShape II and eMatrix therapy, Swanson and her team of physicians and scientists have also created two skincare product lines, Sugar Face and Dr. Bobby’s SkinShine, made with all-natural ingredients. Swanson also offers chemical peels, skin tightening, vein removal, laser hair removal, Botox, and fillers.
Go For: “Our photofacial is by far the most popular treatment,” Swanson says, noting that it uses a combination of intense pulsed light (IPL) and radiofrequency (RF) therapies to counteract sun damage, erasing age spots and other hyper-pigmentation. A single session is $250; buy a series of five and receive the sixth treatment free.
