Lori Dodd, who owns the popular Dream Spa & Salon in Westport, Connecticut, opened a second spa in Greenwich last summer. “We brought the best of what we do in Westport to Greenwich: classic spa and salon treatments and a beautiful apothecary filled with very high-end lotions, potions, and gift ideas,” she says. “We are also excited about our Dream Blow Dry Bar for no-appointment blow-outs—perfect for busy moms and harried executives.” There is a private couple's room with en suite showers for romantic rendezvous and packages include such indulgences as Cloud Nine, a full day of extreme pampering; Dream a Little Dream, for moms-to-be; Basics for the Boys; and Dream Girl, the essential spa introduction for teens. For those short on time, opt for the mini 30-minute services.

Go For: The Dream Add-Ons massage—it lives up to its name. You choose your massage ($120 to  $150) and then pick from a menu of extras ($15 to $20 each). Dahlia sent me off to Dreamland with a Swedish massage that incorporated hot stones, a hot towel, and an eye mask, followed by a scalp massage. Free with any treatment is the amazing Dream Shower Experience: a high-tech marvel tricked out with aromatherapy, chromatherapy, and more. Just program in your choice of colors, scents, sounds, and heat, and step into bliss. Don’t forget to get a gingersnap cookie on your way out—a sweet treat après-treatment.
