The Bronxville Wellness Sanctuary, which opened last year, goes beyond the typical day spa menu for a total mind-body holistic experience: guided meditation, health and nutritional counseling, and a variety of facials and massages. “We’ve just added positional therapy,” says co-founder Stephanie Filardi. “It’s a clothes-on treatment that relieves chronic pain from injury, stress, or repetitive strain.” Other new services include reflexology and shiatsu massage, which, Filardi says, can be helpful with stress, nausea, anxiety, and depression. Group wellness programs include meditation and healthy weight loss, among others.
Go For: Be Well Package includes a 45-minute massage and a 45-minute organic facial ($125). “Everyone loves it,” Filardi promises.
