“Balance and beauty are two sacred words for us,” says Diana Seo, who opened a Westchester branch of the highly regarded B Spa Bar in the Soho Grand Hotel last June. The vibe is “Eastern philosophy meets Western culture” and the spa’s philosophy is “nourish your body and preserve your skin.” Seo believes skincare should be part of an overall nutrition and exercise regimen. “We have a nutritionist on board and incorporate ayurvedic products into our treatments. We only use natural ingredients that are good for the earth and good for the body.”
The space is divided equally between spa and salon. There is a seven-chair hair salon on the first floor for cuts, color, extensions, and bridal and prom updos. The second floor has seven spa treatment rooms (each decorated in a different theme: Asian, Tuscan, etc.) along with two pedicure stations.
Go For: “Our yoga facial ($256) is very popular,” Seo says. “It includes a facial massage of acupressure points that helps release tension.” Seo also recommends the custom facials that offer personalized peels, serums, masks, and creams along with state-of-the-art LED light therapy treatments. Be sure to mention you read about the spa in Westchester Magazine: Seo is offering $50 off a facial or massage to new customers.
