Reality TV comes to Westchester with the launch of this new women’s boutique by former season-seven Project Runway contestant Jesus Estrada and his identical twin, Antonio, along with a third partner, Josie Cermele of Scarsdale. The front of the shop showcases the Estrada duo’s ready-to-wear designs, including ponchos ($39), leather bags ($298-$498), and handmade jewelry ($200-plus). The rear of the shop houses the pair’s studio, where they custom-design special-occasion dresses which feature, says Jesus Estrada, “lots and lots of Swarovski crystals.” Made-to-order cocktail dresses start at $400 and evening gowns at $1,400.

They’ve covered thousands of miles, enjoyed countless breathtaking vistas—and sustained plenty of injuries. Now, the competitive runners who staff this 19th location in a chain—launched 13 years ago by Olympic trials qualifier Gene Mitchell—are ready to outfit all kinds
of athletes. “While we cater to avid
runners,” says store manager Matt Stallsworth, “the footwear and apparel can, of course, be used by other fitness enthusiasts.” Featured are running shoes and track spikes ($85-$150) from brand leaders like Asics, Nike, Brooks, Mizuno USA, Saucony, and New Balance. Not sure what type of shoe is best for you? The Running Company offers a complimentary gait analysis that includes a look at your stride on an in-store treadmill.
